Paving Project Teamwork Agreement Reduced delays, reduced total project costs are a couple of the objectives and rapid dispute resolution and joint problem solving are a couple of the key values included in a new Teamwork Agreement developed by CAPA.  The Agreement is in DRAFT form and is available for use on paving projects across the state.  One suggestion is to include the agreement in pre-paving and pre-construction discussions.

Colorado Construction Career Days (C3D) is in final planning. C3D  gives students and educators firsthand knowledge about the construction industry through hands-on activities. During the day, students will have the opportunity to operate equipment used in the construction industry - such as a mini excavators and loaders, compactors as well as learn about architecture, engineering and the trades. This year is the 12th Anniversary of C3D and we want to make it the best event ever. The exposure event is in need of Volunteers and companies to sponsor and provide mentors for events. There are 33 outdoor activities which need to be planned and volunteers to man the individual activities. The activities we are hoping to have will be from the Engineering and construction sectors. If you can provide volunteers or plan an activity for the 600 students, please complete the volunteer form or visit the Colorado Construction Career Days Web site. You can contact Tom Clayton to get more information as well.
